Hi everybody! How is it going? Winter has arrived in Sydney, and to enjoy the first snow of the season,
La Lingua organized an awesome Ski trip last weekend. Lots of La Lingua staff, teachers, students and their friends went along.
Some were experienced skiers or snowboarders, while some saw the snow
for the very first time… but everybody had a wonderful time!
We left Sydney Friday night on the bus and arrived in Jindabyne’s
Snowy Valley Resort late at night.
Everyone picked up the snow gear ready for the day after.
Monday morning, after a huge breakfast, we left Jindabyne for Thredbo and
its slopes.
Some students had ski or board lessons but others immediately hit the slopes.
The weather was cold but sunny we had a lot of snow from the previous days snowfalls,
so most of the runs were open.
At lunchtime we met up all together to have lunch and talk about our day,
and then back again to the slopes.
After a big skiing and boarding day we went back to the resort,
where we had a delicious dinner. After dinner, the party started at the bar: free shots,
music and lot of dancing! While some were emptying the bar reserves,
some people preferred relaxing in the resort’s spa and sauna.
The second day, a bit more tired after the big night,
we had another wonderful sunny day on the runs,
and then back to Sydney, where we arrived late Sunday night,
tired but happy.
